Tips for Blending Fragrance Oils with Base

Setting the Ratio:
A typical starting point is 1 part fragrance oil to 3 parts base, but feel free to adjust depending on how strong you want your perfume to be.

Blending Guidelines:

  • Always use a separate glass bottle for mixing; never add oils directly to your original perfume bottle.

  • Allow your mixture to develop:

    • For faster results, freeze for 12–24 hours.

    • For a slower, more natural maturation, store in a cool, dark place for 5–7 days.

  • Once matured, smell and tweak the fragrance by adding extra base or oil if needed.

Preparing for Bottling:

  • Strain the perfume to remove any solid particles before pouring into your final bottle.

  • For a clean and clear finish, rinse your perfume bottle with a little alcohol before filling. This ensures no residue or impurities affect the final scent.
